About KMC

“I have always known what I was going to do and my passion has never wavered…”

Keith’s great grandfather emigrated from Norway and began his journey in the United States as a carpenter in New Jersey.

Keith’s journey started when his father brought home pounds upon pounds of nails from a hardware store which was going out of business. Keith would reach for a ball peen hammer and start working away. At 5 years old, Keith got his first full size hammer - along with his first black fingernail - but he knew building things was in his blood.

A year after high school, Keith started working for a general contractor, and immediately knew that framing was his calling. He started reading books about every aspect of residential framing he could get his hands on and continually developed his knowledge.

From a small pickup truck with a couple of ladders to running a crew with a first-class fleet of equipment, Keith has refined his craft to be exceptional - and his reputation as one of the most well respected.

KMC specializes in complex and challenging coastal homes along the southeastern Connecticut and Rhode Island shorelines.
